Karen Bee

Karen joined IDR in January 2023. She has worked in the financial services sector since 1995, including roles with banking, fintech and managed services firms. 

As Operations Director, Karen is responsible for the smooth and consistent delivery of our service offering in all jurisdictions, as well as the ongoing development of our global operations teams. She is based in Cape Town and will work with our clients globally.    

Karen holds an AML Certification via ICA (International Compliance Association), Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Certification via Damelin School of Business and is currently working towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Crime Compliance. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and singing.
